Sandibe Safari Lodge

Sandibe Safari Lodge is built in a natural clearing in the Okavango Delta of Botswana and captures the earthy atmosphere of the surrounding river inlets and groves of ebony and knobthorn trees of the Okavango Delta. The paths around Sandibe Safari Lodge and the Okavango Delta have been used by elephants and other wildlife as crossing points for several hundred years.

Sandibe Safari Lodge has spacious cottages with en suite bathrooms and private viewing decks that overlook the floodplains and the palm forests of the Okavango Delta - haven of numerous bird species, and the banks of the Sandibe River.

Sandibe Safari Lodge’s main building houses the lounge, dining area and fireplace. The use of TV and video facilities are also available in Sandibe Safari Lodge. There are shaded hammocks in Sandibe Safari Lodge where on can enjoy views of floodplains and birdsongs from the Okavango Delta. Sandibe Safari Lodge also has a shaded swimming pool. Depending on the weather, meals from Sandibe Safari Lodge’s kitchen are served under a canopy of trees in the Okavango Delta.

Sandibe Safari Lodge is also near Moremi Game Reserve and Maun- Botswana’s tourism capital. Game drives from Sandibe Safari Lodge to the Okavango Delta can lead to sightings of lions, cheetahs, wild dogs, elephants and hippopotamuses. Sandibe Safari Lodge also offers dugout canoe trips, bird watching excursions and bush walks into the Okavango Delta.
